STATOR WINDINGS

We offer different stator windings for your generators and electric motors.

  • In single-layer, two-layer or special design
  • State-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, e.g.: Automatic winding machines, pull-in machines, slot folding machines, and welding equipment
  • Manual winding is also offered
  • Insulation techniques: Resin-Rich system, polyester VPI or epoxy VPI (vacuum pressure impregnation)

Technical specifications

  • Mean winding length up to 3.5 m
  • Maximum weight up to frame size 800: 8 t
  • Manual windings for the frame sizes 150 - 800
  • Pulling in of the windings for the frame sizes 132 - 450 (for series)
  • High-temperature windings for short-time overtemperatures
    (400 °C/2 h; 600 °C/1 h)
  • Mush wire slip ring rotors up to 6 t
  • Mush wire rotor windings
  • HV mush windings up to 6.6 kV
  • Converter-compatible windings
  • Stranded-wire windings

Further winding types and larger dimensions and weights possible upon request

  • Smaller dimensions primarily for traction machines
  • Coil dimensions are possible up to a fish length of 5.6 m
  • Insulation techniques: Resin-Rich system, polyester VPI or epoxy VPI (vacuum pressure impregnation)

Technical specifications of form-wound coils in general

  • Starting from stator inner diameters of 300 mm
  • Spread angle: 0 ... 140°
  • Chord (spacing between the slots): 120 ... 1,200 mm (up to less than 200 mm hand bandaging)
  • Length of the straight core part: 280 ... 3,500 mm
  • Cross-section of the straight core part: 5 x 15 mm ... 25 x 70 mm (but max. 1,400 mm)

Clarification of the feasibility of other dimensions upon request

  • For generators and special motors
  • Manufacture of Roebel windings with bars up to a total length of 10 m and up to a rated voltage of 21 kV
  • With VPI only up to a laminated core length of max. 4 m
  • Insulation techniques: Resin-Rich, epoxy VPI (vacuum pressure impregnation)

Technical specifications:

  • Minimum cross-section of the insulated conductor: 4 x 1 mm
  • Maximum cross-section of the insulated conductor: 16 x 4.5 mm
  • Number of conductors per half-bar: 80
  • Maximum conductor length after cutting into length: 10,100 mm ± 2 mm
  • Maximum number of bends: 180° / 360° / 540°
  • Special twisting of the Roebel bars possible

We manufacture field windings in different variants:

  • Wound of insulated flat or round wire
  • Bare copper wire wound upright
  • Soldered together from single copper parts

Technical specifications of the field winding welding machine:

  • Minimum coil inner dimensions - width: 140 mm
  • Minimum coil inner dimensions - length: 1,100 mm
  • Maximum coil outer dimensions - width: 1,000 mm
  • Maximum coil outer dimensions - length: 3,000 mm
  • Maximum total height of the coil: 320 mm
  • Maximum weight of the coil: 1,200 kg
  • Maximum conductor width: 105 mm
  • Conductor height: 2 ... 7 mm; greater conductor heights must be verified for feasibility by way of a soldering test

It is one of the special fields of PARTZSCH Spezialdrähte GmbH: We develop special wire insulation for special applications.

Slip-on coils

  • Irrespective of their size
  • On the basis of drawings or the original coil
  • Coils with cranked winding overhang and pull-through windings are also possible

Technical specifications:

  • Up to subassembly size 1500
  • Up to a weight of 14 t
