Balancing and overspeed testing

Balancing and overspeed testing

With a rotor from PARTZSCH, you can make full use of your motor's capabilities! Special balancing procedures ensure that it runs smoothly and meets all applicable requirements in terms of noise emissions and vibration – even at high speeds. Our balancing and overspeed test facility is able to determine mechanical vibrations of rotors both at low and at high speeds.
Furthermore, we offer dynamic balancing of rotors running in sleeve bearings.

The balancing quality achieved for the test object is proven by way of a balancing report.

Technical parameters for high-speed balancing

  • Rotor weight: 32,000 kg
  • Weight per bearing pedestal: 16,000 kg
  • Rotor weight: Approx. 1,000 kg
  • Length of the machine bed: Approx. 8,000 mm
  • Max. rotor diameter: Approx. 2,500 mm
  • Bore diameter of the bearing cartridge for mounting of the sleeve bearing shells: 600 mm
  • Spacing between the bearings: Approx. 7,100 mm
  • Spacing between the bearings: Approx. 500 mm
  • Speed range for balancing: 180 ... 4,500 min-1
