Repair works on an asynchronous motor

On November 18, 2022, we received an asynchronous motor (pillow block machine on a frame in an Ex-version, flameproof encapsulated) from a Norwegian industrial customer for repair. The diagnosis revealed that the stator winding was defective and had to be replaced, including the stator core (winding in epoxy VPI). In addition, a rotor inspection including solder seam testing was carried out on the short-circuit winding. Finally, we carried out a no-load test in our company together with the end customer. The results were very good, and the customer was extremely satisfied. The Ex-approval takes place after installation on site by our customer in collaboration with the company DNV.
