This is our new impregnation system

Special features at a glance

- horizontal vacuum pressure container: ø 2.5 x 3.0 m, heatable for optimal results
- two resin storage containers: Up to 5 m³ for different resins, with heating, cooling and degassing functions
- versatile impregnation resin options: Impregnation with epoxy resins and low-emission polyester resins possible
- flexible loading trolley: Assembly of various soaking containers for maximum efficiency
- data Recorder: Monitors temperature, pressure and capacity for precise process control
- modern controls: User-friendly operation via two screens for optimal handling

Impregnating resin: Voltatex 4202

We use the low-emission polyester resin Voltatex 4202 as the impregnating resin. When cured, it offers outstanding mechanical, thermal and electrical properties (TI 200) and is characterized by its low susceptibility to cracking. The resin is UL listed and the integration of another impregnation resin is planned.

Impregnation of high-voltage and low-voltage machines

Our system enables the impregnation of windings up to 6.6 kV (e.g. traction) with the VPI normal process and round wire windings up to 1 kV with the VPI short process. With a resin quantity of 1.9 m³ in the storage container, larger windings (max. 1.2 m x 1.2 m x 1.1 m LxWxH) can now be impregnated efficiently and precisely.
