REPAIR OF AN OLD HYDROELECTRIC GENERATOR
We rewound the stator of a hydroelectric generator for the French power company Clemessy. This job involved the following activities: Removal of the old winding by way of pyrolysis, removal of the old sheets, laser cutting of new sheets, stacking of the new laminated core and insertion into the enclosure, manufacture of new coils, installation and switching of the coils, impregnation of the winding ends, and final tests.
