REPLICATION OF THREE TRACTION MOTORS FOR THE ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE 2000

As exact manufacturing plans were no longer available, it was first necessary to disassemble and analyse an existing traction motor and thereby to determine all relevant dimensions. To this end, the customer delivered a traction motor which was checked in Döbeln in the beginning of 2018. PAMO Reparaturwerk GmbH was commissioned to produce three equivalent traction motors for the electric locomotive 2000. Design drawings, where they still existed, were provided by the customer. Missing detail drawings were then created by the PARTZSCH team by way of a material analysis and subsequently presented to the customer for approval.

Thanks to the cooperation between the companies PARTZSCH Elektromotoren and PAMO Reparaturwerk, the whole project could be realised within nine months.
