TRACTION MOTORS FOR THE DIESEL-ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE BR250
The traction motors were delivered to our plant for repair. In accordance with the errors detected during the diagnosis, the repair of the motors could be divided into the following repair stages: Overhaul, repair of the stator preformed coil and of the laminated stator core, rewinding of the
squirrel-cage rotor, including re-lamination and repair of the mechanical accessories, replacement of defective motor parts (bearing caps, labyrinth rings, grease splash plate, etc.).
