PARTZSCH Group celebrates its 70th anniversary
On 22 August 2024, the PARTZSCH Group celebrated its 70th anniversary. Numerous partners and companions came to the factory premises in Döbeln and attended a factory tour and short speeches.

It is admirable that in 70 years, a small repair plant in Döbeln has grown into an entire group of companies that serves its customers worldwide,’ said Dirk Neubauer, District Administrator of the district of Central Saxony. ‘I wish the PARTZSCH Group, its managing directors and employees continued success!"Christian Partzsch, the grandson of the founder and today one of the four managing directors of the PARTZSCH Group, also expressed his pride: ’70 years of company history - that's a great legacy that we want to preserve on behalf of our employees. As a group of companies, we have big plans - and we are still at home in Döbeln and the surrounding area.
‘The history of the PARTZSCH Group began in 1954: Werner Partzsch founded the “Repair Centre for Electrical Machines and Apparatus” in Döbeln. In the years and decades that followed, the main focus was on the maintenance and repair of small and medium-sized electric motors and generators. The company grew steadily - even under sometimes difficult conditions and in times of material shortages. In 1989, Werner Partzsch's son, Thomas Partzsch, took over the helm of the company and guided it safely through the following years, achieving enormous growth in terms of expertise and employees. Since 2021, responsibility for the PARTZSCH Group has been divided among a strong management team: four managing directors - Thomas Götze, Remo Nitschmann, Holger Klotsche and the founder's grandson, Christian Partzsch - work together in partnership to lead the PARTZSCH Group into a sustainable future.Today, the PARTZSCH Group offers a complete service for electrically rotating machines from 100 kW to 250,000 kVA and weighing up to 120 tonnes: from components to complete drives. Synchronous generators, accelerator magnets, lift drives, copper wires, high-performance spindles and components are manufactured on more than 40,000 square metres of production space and with the help of modern machinery, with the individual companies in the group working hand in hand to guarantee seamless and smooth production and assembly.

As professionals in the maintenance and repair of generators and electric motors, PARTZSCH offers customised and replica construction in addition to engineering.
